the questions everyone asks

सवाल-जवाब · Honey, answered simply

Which honey should I start with?

Start with Sunflower or Tulsi. Both are mellow, easy to love, and under Rs 400. If you mostly take honey in tea, pick Acacia: it is light and will not take over the cup.

Is your honey really raw?

Yes. It is never heated above hive temperature and never fine-filtered, so the pollen and natural enzymes stay in the jar. That is also why it crystallises over time, which brings us to the next question.

My honey turned thick and grainy. Has it gone bad?

No, it has crystallised, which is what real raw honey does. Stand the jar in warm water for a few minutes to loosen it, and never microwave it. Grainy honey is also lovely spread on a paratha.

Can I give this honey to my child?

For children above one year, yes. Never give any honey to a baby under one year old. If your child has allergies or a medical condition, check with your doctor first.

What do the 250g, 500g and 1kg options cost?

Every price is shown on the product page when you pick a size. Delivery is a flat Rs 100, and free on orders above Rs 1,000, so a 500g jar or two 250g jars usually ships free.

How should I store it?

A cool cupboard, away from sunlight, lid tight. Honey never expires if you keep water out of the jar, so always use a dry spoon.
