why this jar, really
फ़ायदे · What makes this one worth it
The same four answers for every honey we sell, so you can compare them properly.
Cut straight from the frame
Comb exactly as the bees built it, with the honey still sealed in the wax alongside pollen and propolis. Nothing is ever separated out.
You chew this one
Pure honey with a waxy finish. The comb softens as you chew and the honey runs out of it, which is as close as most people get to standing at a hive.
What comes out for company
On a board with cheese or fruit, this is what people put out when there are guests in the house. It tends to be the thing everyone ends up asking about.
There is no process to describe
Not spun, not strained, not warmed. It is cut, weighed and packed, and that is the entire list, because nothing has to be taken back out.
Taste
Pure honey, waxy finish
Texture
Solid comb, chewable wax
Pairs with
Cheese, toast, yoghurt, granola
Best for
A table centrepiece

You eat the wax. It softens as you chew and the honey runs out of it, which is as close as most people will get to standing at a hive. Put it on a board with cheese and it will be the thing everyone asks about. Like all honey, it is not for children under one year old.
Honey is food, not medicine. We describe how ours tastes, where it comes from and how people use it, and we leave the health claims to people who can prove them. Not suitable for children under one year old.
how it actually gets made
From the hive to your jar
Six steps, and the ones we leave out matter as much as the ones we do. Every honey in the range is made this way.
01One bloom, one season
The bees forage wild Himalayan bloom, away from farms and spraying. Single valley, single flower, single season, and we do not blend a later harvest in to stretch it.
02Bought direct, by name
From beekeepers we know and visit, at the price they set. No middleman, no auction lot, no drum of honey with no history attached to it.
03Left to ripen in the comb
Taken only once the bees have capped the comb, which is their own signal that it is ready. Nothing is pulled early and dried down afterwards to hit a number.
04Cold extraction, small batches
Spun out of the frames without heat. Warming honey makes it flow faster and look clearer on a shelf, and it costs the aroma you paid for.
05Settled, not fine-filtered
Left to stand so wax and debris rise, then strained coarsely. Fine filtering would take the pollen out with them, and the pollen is what proves where it came from.
06Into glass, sealed the same day
Bottled into glass and sealed the day it is filled, with the batch on the label. Dr. Mohit tastes every batch before any of it ships.
This is also why our honey crystallises, and why yours will. Honey that stays perfectly clear on a shelf for years has usually been heated hard enough to stop it. Stand the jar in warm water for a few minutes and it pours again.

Honeycomb is the wax structure the bees build to store their honey, and this is a piece of it cut straight from the frame with the honey still sealed inside. There is no extraction step, no settling and no straining, because nothing is ever separated out. It is cut, weighed and packed, and that is the entire process.

Questions we hear often
Why has my honey crystallised?
Crystallising is a natural sign of raw, unprocessed honey. Stand the jar in warm water to loosen it, do not microwave.
How should I store it?
Room temperature, lid closed, away from direct sun. Never refrigerate.
Can children have raw honey?
Yes for children above one year old. Not recommended for infants under 12 months.
Is this vegan?
Honey is an animal product, so strictly speaking it is not vegan. It is vegetarian.
